Terms of Use

ChatinChat is run by Soham Tripathy (“we”, “us”) as an individual. Creating an account means you accept these terms. If you do not, please don’t use the site.

How your data is handled is set out separately in the Privacy Policy.

ChatinChat lets you chat with an AI and, unusually, highlight any part of an answer to ask a follow-up anchored to that specific text. It is a personal project made by one person. It is not a company, it has no support team, and it comes with no guarantees.

AI can make mistakes. Please check anything important, and don’t rely on it for medical, legal or financial decisions.

Answers are generated by a third-party model. We do not review them before you see them and cannot promise they are accurate, complete or suitable for anything in particular.

• —One account per person, and please give accurate details when you create it.
• —Keep your password to yourself. Anything done through your account is treated as done by you.
• —Tell us if you think someone else has got into your account.

Please don’t:

• —Use it for anything illegal, or to produce content that harms other people.
• —Try to get around the usage limits, or create accounts in bulk.
• —Attack, overload, probe or reverse-engineer the site.
• —Use automated tools to scrape it or drive it.
• —Resell access, or pass off its output as a service of your own.

Each account has a limit on the number of questions it may ask, and the site as a whole has a daily limit. These exist because every question costs real money to answer, and they may change at any time. Running out of questions is not a fault.

Your conversations remain yours. You give us permission to store and process them only so far as is needed to run the site — including sending them to OpenAI so the AI can reply, as the Privacy Policy describes. We claim no ownership and will not publish them.

You are responsible for what you type, and for making sure you have the right to share it.

The site may be slow, unavailable, changed or discontinued at any time and without notice. It runs on a single small server maintained in spare time. Please don’t depend on it for anything important, and keep your own copy of anything you would be upset to lose.

You can stop using ChatinChat whenever you like, and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or delete an account that breaks these terms, or where doing so is needed to keep the site running for everyone else.

ChatinChat is provided “as is”, with no warranties of any kind, express or implied.

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the site, including lost data, lost profits, or decisions made on the basis of what the AI said. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.

These terms may be updated. The date at the top will change, and continuing to use the site afterwards means accepting the new version.
